What We DON'T Do

To set clear expectations, here’s what LBX does NOT typically provide:

Direct Retail Marketing & Activation
We do not execute in-store promotions, consumer marketing campaigns, or retail staff training. These are typically handled by distributors or hired marketing agencies. We can advise and share best practices, but execution is not our core service.

Small-Volume Retail Orders
We’re a B2B company focused on container-level shipments and wholesale. If you’re a small retailer looking for 10 bottles of sauce, please contact our local distributor partners.

Consumer Direct Sales
We don’t sell to end consumers. We work with businesses who distribute or use products at scale.

Retail Funding / Slotting Fees
Retail market entry can require significant investment (slotting fees, promotional funds, marketing budgets). LBX does not fund these initiatives. Distributors and manufacturers must budget for these costs.

Guaranteed Exclusivity Without Commitment
We offer territory protection for partners who meet minimum volume commitments. We don’t grant exclusive rights to partners who won’t invest in the market.

Why This Matters: We want partnerships built on realistic expectations. Many distribution relationships fail because expectations weren’t aligned. We’d rather be upfront about what we do and don’t offer.

FAQs

Q: Do you require exclusivity?
A: It depends. We evaluate case-by-case. For partners who commit to significant volumes and invest in market development, we often offer territory exclusivity. For lower-volume or trial relationships, we may work with multiple partners in the same market.

Q: What are typical payment terms?
A: For new partners: LC (Letter of Credit) or advance payment for first 2-3 orders. Once trust is established: NET 30-60 days. For manufacturers: We collect from buyers and remit to you on agreed schedule (typically NET 30-45 after our receipt).

Q: What are minimum order quantities?
A: Varies by product and brand. Generally, for container-level shipments: 1-2 pallets per SKU. For LCL (less than container): higher MOQs apply due to logistics costs. We can provide specific MOQs per product.

Q: Can you help with halal certification?
A: All our current brands are already halal-certified. For manufacturers seeking certification, we can recommend reputable certification bodies and guide through the process, but we don’t handle the application directly.

Q: Do you provide marketing materials?
A: We provide product specifications, certificates, and basic marketing collateral (product images, descriptions). For custom marketing materials (posters, shelf talkers, videos), distributors typically handle creation or hire agencies. We can share templates and best practices.

Q: What if there’s a quality issue?
A: We coordinate between buyer and manufacturer to resolve quickly. Depending on severity: replacement product, credit note, or refund. We stand behind what we sell.

Q: How do I know if a market is already covered?
A: Contact us. We’ll let you know our current partnership status in your market and whether opportunities exist.

Q: Can you introduce me to retailers?
A: Our focus is B2B distribution. We don’t typically have direct retail relationships (that’s what distributors do). However, we can share market intelligence and may be able to make introductions in limited cases.
