Our Story

LBX was born from a simple observation:
the best Asian food products weren’t reaching the people who wanted them.

Our founding team came from different corners of the food industry:

  • Some started in logistics, coordinating shipments across Asia
  • Others worked in manufacturing, understanding production and quality control
  • A few came from distribution, knowing what buyers actually need
  • Others spent years in export documentation, navigating regulations


Each of us saw the same challenges from different angles:

  • Malaysian manufacturers struggled to find reliable export partners
  • International distributors couldn’t find trustworthy Asian suppliers
  • Great products sat in warehouses while buyers searched desperately
  • Halal-certified oriental foods were hard to source


We realized: our diverse backgrounds weren’t a weakness – they were our superpower.

The logistics person knew how to move containers efficiently.
The manufacturing person knew how to evaluate quality.
The distributor knew what buyers really need (not just what they say they need).
The documentation person knew how to keep everything compliant.

That’s how LBX was born.

Not with a fancy business plan in a boardroom, but over shared meals, honest conversations, and a belief that:

We started with one brand (Otafuku), one market (Middle East), and one core principle: do it right, even when no one’s watching.

Today, we work with 8+ brands across multiple Asian countries, serving distributors in 8+ markets. But our core hasn’t changed:
